Self taught artist, Dave Card, has been sculpting professionally for 15 years. Dave sculpts finely detailed and finished
works of art for indoors and out. His outdoor sculptures are made from cedar or pine and are finished with outdoor sealants. The indoor sculptures are made from a variety woods such as cedar and hard woods
in the form of burls and knots. He is well known for his incorporative style
utilizing the natural shape and form of each individual piece of wood. Dave's
ten thousand hours plus have been spent learning the intricacies of the human form and the
alluring details of the animal kingdom. He is heavily influenced by the natural
world around him.
Dave's work is collected both nationally and
internationally with more and more clients requesting specialty pieces on
commission.
